It all began with the quest to find the perfect marriage between quality craftsmanship and well tanned leather. Greenapple Leather was an initiative to bend and modify the cliché of manufacturing products. It was our fight to bring quality and consistency under the same umbrella, and our quest to perform the right marriage, time and time again, that has made us who we are today. The tannery is where leather making begins. We start with selecting hides from various regions of the world. Once chosen, are treated and cleaned in our paddles. From there the leather is then put into one of these drums, and is cured, which then results in wet blue. We experiment with various chemical compositions to keep providing the market with new variations.
Our attention to detail is principle as we come from generations of tanners. Once processed, we use different machinery to bring out a variety of charactesicts of the skin depending upon requirement. These can include, Milled, Veg Tanned, Printed, Naked, Snuffed. The end result is always very satisfying after a number of calculated processes. We take great pride in our finished leather unit, that provides quality material unfailingly.
